The Rangitikei District’s real estate market is strong with many out of town buyers now finding Rangitikei, and especially the Rangitikei towns of Marton and Bulls to relocate to.
We welcome these new residents into our Rangitikei towns and we are sure they will enjoy the relaxed lifestyle and friendly atmosphere. Affordability is appreciated from their move to the Rangitikei from the more highly priced centres thus leaving a surplus to possibly refurbish or renovate their new residences too.
Rangitikei’s central location, encompassing both State Highways 1 and 3, is very appealing to travel to Wellington, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki, and to Auckland. RNZAF Base personnel enjoy an easy commute to Bulls, Marton, Feilding and Palmerston North.
First home buyers from other nearby centres and the Rangitikei towns are also buying their first homes. However, there is somewhat of a shortage of homes to view in the first home buyers bracket up to $250,000 in both Marton and Bulls.
In September 2017 in Rangitikei, there were 17 sales having a value of $4,075,750.
