The Rangitikei lifestyle centres around  small service towns, the icons of rural New Zealand.

As part of the Rangitikei experience you can have it all - from excellent education to heritage houses and gardens, cafe culture and bungy jumping to fly-fishing or shopping centres.  It's central location means easy access to Wanganui and Palmerston North, and only a couple of hours* to Taranaki, Mt Ruapehu, Wellington or the Hawkes Bay.

The dramatically scenic Rangitikei river, which runs through the district, until recently has been a well-kept secret.  It offers some of the finest white water rafting in New Zealand along with trout fishing, jet boating, swimming and other recreationaly acitvities.

 Rangitikei farmland is rich and fertile, but by no means the only local asset.  Horticulture is thriving, and it's a very appealing location for all kinds of business ventures.

 There are excellent transport links, a good labour pool, and opportunities for significant growth and capital gain.
