What's new in the Rangitikei...
Hunting, fishing, tramping your thing? And at the end of the day somewhere to lay your head... Bulls Information Centre, Marton Library/Information Centre and Taihape are now selling DoC Backcountry Hut passes.
Rangitikei is the gate way to the Ruahine and Tararua Forest Parks, the Tongariro and Whanganui National Parks (we could even book you or someone you know a helicopter flight in to one of these Parks!)... and there is the odd hut or two on our doorstep. in fact there are over 900 DoC huts in New Zealand amongst some very scenic countryside. See us for more information about an outdoor adventure.
But if that all sounds a bit too ‘back to nature’, remember we can book ‘more comfortable’ accommodation for you both locally and nationally.
